Hunter Bevan have recently completed the design, project management and installation of thirteen new interpretive panels in Oswestry Town centre.

The panels, featuring a map of the town, and highlighting points of interest for visitors, were commissioned by Oswestry's Better Welcome Committee, a collaboration between shop owners and local businesses, the local tourism association, Tourist Information Centre, Oswestry Town Council, Civic Society, and the former Borough Council.

All of the illustrations of local landmarks were hand drawn and painted by Hunter Bevan's Senior Designer, Dave Goodman, who says, "Although the majority of graphic design work is carried out straight on to an Apple Mac computer these days, it's always refreshing to work with a client who'll commission good old traditional pen and ink and watercolour wash work!".

As well as the interpretive panels, Hunter Bevan have created a new Oswestry town map and guide which features all of the illustrations, along with an updated town map. The map is available form various points in the town, and from the Tourist Information Centres at Mile End and Oswestry Visitor and Exhibition Centre.
