Oswestry based graphic design and marketing company, Hunter Bevan Ltd, have been appointed by Oswestry Borderland Tourism Ltd to produce the 2009/10 ‘escape to Oswestry’ tourism brochure.

The handy A5 size brochure has become the premier tourist guide to the area over the past six years, featuring extensive listings of activities and accommodation from accredited members of Oswestry Borderland Tourism. The publication is supported by Oswestry Town Council, Oswestry Borough Council and through advertisements for local attractions.

Hunter Bevan have been commissioned to manage the project, handle advertising, design the publication and manage the production of the 25,000 print run of brochures which are distributed through Tourist Information Centres throughout the UK.

Councillor Miss Betty Gull, of Oswestry Borderland Tourism, says, “We are pleased to be able to work with a local company to produce next year’s brochure. Hunter Bevan came up with an innovative and competitive proposal when the project was put out to tender, and we look forward to a long and successful relationship with them.”

Hunter Bevan have made it easy for advertisers to submit content and images for their adverts through an on-line booking system.

The brochure will be launched before Christmas, with a pdf download version available on the www.oswestry-welshborders.org.uk
